Learn to build circuits and program an Arduino microprocessor.
Developed for DuinoKit Educator prototyping system.
This course is good with loose parts or PCB-based DuinoKit systems.

This course includes several units of tutorials, examples, and challenges along with quizzes and code for projects.  The course also includes many lessons/tutorials and projects for various components found on the DuinoKit Educator PCB kit.  After a few "structured units", there is a list of curated and tested tutorials for tinkering.  If you find a fun/interesting project or would like to submit an "original" project, please email support@DuinoKit.com

Instructors can request a "Private Course" that can be edited and made available for only their students at a nominal cost.

The DuinoKit Jr. Missions course is a hands-on introduction to electronics and text-based coding using an Arduino Nano microprocessor built onto a single, solderless board. Students work through 20 structured, spy-themed "missions" and 60 sub-missions to build practical projects like weather stations, digital games, and light alarms by learning how to program and wire integrated hardware components.

Welcome to the DuinoKit IoT course - 70 hands-on projects that take you from “blink an LED” to a working smart-home project using the ESP32.

Each project is a lesson with:

  • a clear overview and what you need from your kit
  • the electronics principle and a wiring diagram
  • the complete code (copy, upload, test)
  • test steps and progressive hints
  • a “Hack the Code” challenge - modify the code and build your own version

After each lesson, submit your hack in the matching assignment so your teacher can see what you built.

Kit: DuinoKit IoT (ESP32). Software: Arduino IDE with the ESP32 board package - see Project 0.1 for the setup.
